Nebraska State Fair Series Update

The Nebraska State Fair Webinar Series recording and slidedeck from the August 2, 2023, webinar is now posted on the Employee Resources section of the Nebraska State Fair link on the website (you must be logged in to access). Below is information related to a few of the frequently asked questions throughout the webinar this afternoon. Please make sure to watch the entire webinar for all of the additional general, static, contest, and livestock related information. Visuals were shared that you can share out with your families and several questions were answered throughout the webinar. 4-H DAY AT THE FAIR TICKETS
• The Nebraska State Fair is thrilled to host the 1st annual 4-H Day at the Nebraska State Fair. 4-H Day will be Sunday, August 27th. To celebrate our 4-H members statewide we are offering a discounted admission that day that is only for bonafide 4-H members.
• This is only intended for 4-H members, family members including parents will need to purchase regular admission tickets. This is not just for exhibitors, but for any 4-H member.

STATIC EXHIBITOR DISCOUNT TICKETS
Back by popular demand! Our 4-H static exhibitor families will be able to order discount passes directly from the Nebraska State Fair! Orders can be placed using the following link and password. Please remember the opportunity to order these discounted tickets is for static exhibitors and their families only. The misuse of this resource may eliminate this opportunity in the future, so please encourage your families not to share this link. Note – We can track who ordered tickets and match it with their 4-H participation. There is a limit of 10 tickets per exhibitor. Discount tickets will not be available through the county offices. Note – These tickets will need to be accessible on your phone or printed prior to coming to the Nebraska State Fair. There is no ticket pickup window.
Note – All livestock exhibitors and in-person event exhibitors (chicken BBQ, fashion show, ID contests, and robotics showcase) will still be able to order discounted tickets when they enter in ShoWorks for State Fair. This process has not changed for those exhibitors coming to the fair.

All advance ticket options are available now until 11:59PM on August 24th CT.

STATIC EXHIBIT RELEASE FORM
• NO EXHIBITS WILL BE RELEASED PRIOR TO 6:00 PM on September 4th.
• Those picking up need to check exhibit out before taking item from State Fair static building.
• The family must contact their county extension staff member to acquire their signature and turn in the form to the county extension office prior to AUGUST 23rd.
• County staff will turn in this form to Lisa Spilker and Dawn Lindsley on or before state fair entry day. Proper paperwork has to be signed by exhibitor/family and county staff so the item(s) are eligible for release. It can be found on the NSF employee page under Static Exhibit Resources.
• The designated person(s) listed below on the form will be responsible for picking up the items. The person(s) picking up the exhibit must be ready to sign for the exhibit and show their ID. Admission will be charged all day Monday, Labor Day.
