Communication Studies is a major that stands out to employers across industries. Think about it--employers consistently look for employees with excellent communication skills who can build strong relationships, work well in teams, have solid public speaking skills, and leadership capabilities. You develop all of those skills and so much more as a Communication Studies major. No matter your primary major, picking up a second major in Communication Studies will give you an edge and help you market yourself across industries. The great part is, all you need to do to move from a minor in Communication Studies to a major is complete 18 more hours in Communication.
