Account activation, frequently asked questions and user support training sessions are now posted on the Office 365 email migration website.

Access is currently limited to technical staff and uses a three-step process to ensure users have met operating system requirements and departmental migration plans.

Currently, "clean start" activation of accounts, with no direct migration of old email and calendaring is being offered to technical staff on a limited basis. Lotus Notes conversion tools are available online. Automated migration tools are currently undergoing further development and testing. Updates will be provided to departmental IT staff when available.

The campus email migration to Microsoft Office 365 began with a successful launch on Dec 19, migrating Chancellor Harvey Perlman and the senior leadership team.

"This was probably the best Christmas present I have ever received," remarked Perlman to Information Services support staff.

Selected colleges and departments have been scheduled for migration over the coming months. Migration of the entire campus is scheduled for completion in June, 2012.
