Dear OASIS Community,

We hope you had a refreshing and restorative winter break, and that you’re ready to kick off an exciting new semester!

As we welcome you back to campus, the Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services (OASIS) is thrilled to be a part of your journey once again. This semester, we’ve developed an incredible lineup of events, workshops, and activities designed to help you thrive. From connecting with peers, staff, and alumni to learning, growing, and taking action together, there’s something for everyone! Be sure to mark your calendars, as we’ve got a semester full of amazing opportunities you won’t want to miss. Learn more at https://go.unl.edu/oasis-events.

Over the winter break, many things have happened and a lot has changed. Remember, the OASIS team is here and ready to support you. Whether you want to explore resources, discuss your goals, or simply chat, we are just a message away. Your success is our priority, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.

In addition, we want to remind you that Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is a multidisciplinary team of psychologists and counselors that work collaboratively with Nebraska students to help them explore their feelings and thoughts and learn helpful ways to improve their mental, psychological, and emotional well-being when issues arise. Please don’t hesitate to make an appointment if you need support—your mental health matters! Learn more about CAPS at https://caps.unl.edu.

Here’s to a new year, a fresh start, and an exciting semester ahead full of opportunities to learn, grow, and make lasting memories. We can’t wait to see you around!

Warmly,
The OASIS Team
