Spring Semester Stride: Your OASIS Through February and Beyond

Dear OASIS Community,

Can you believe we're already halfway through the semester? With spring break just two weeks away, we hope you're finding your rhythm and achieving success in your classes and professional endeavors. We recognize the academic workload can be challenging, but we're incredibly proud of how our community continues to persevere while maintaining wellbeing.

February has been a month rich with celebration and connection! From honoring Black History Month to sharing in the joy of Valentine's Day and Lunar New Year, or reflecting on Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy, our campus has been alive with meaningful engagement. Many of you participated in the Spring Nvolvement Fair exploring RSOs, supported our university during the Glow Big Red fundraising event, or took important steps toward your future at the University Career & Internship Fair.

During times of uncertainty, remember that OASIS remains your constant—a place where community, safety, and reassurance aren't just words but promises. We stand ready to provide you with the support, understanding, and connection you need as you navigate the evolving landscape of university life. While circumstances around us may shift, our commitment to creating a meaningful space where you can share your thoughts and ideas remains unwavering.

As always, we want to remind you that Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers valuable resources through their multidisciplinary team of psychologists and counselors. They work collaboratively with Nebraska students to explore feelings and thoughts, and develop helpful strategies to improve mental, psychological, and emotional wellbeing. Your mental health matters—learn more about their services at https://caps.unl.edu.

Don't miss our signature events this month! Join us for our weekly "Dish It Up" sessions, special Late Night Edition "Dish It Up" events, our enriching "Lunch & Learn" sessions, and mark your calendars for our upcoming JGMC Week in April.

Check our full events calendar at https://go.unl.edu/oasis-events.

Here's to embracing the momentum of February and finishing the first half of the semester strong. Remember, OASIS is here for you every step of the way!

Warmly, The OASIS Team
