Membership Meeting and Peanut Butter Drive - October 16

Please join us to hear from guest speakers Curt Donaldson and Vicki Van Steenberg, two alumni of Centennial College. We will learn about Centennial College, officially named the Centennial Educational Program, which opened in the fall of 1969 and continued until the spring of 1981. The innovative college was created to celebrate the university’s centennial celebration in 1969 and was the precursor to the Honors Program we know today.
Networking and brown bag to start at 11:45, with our speakers to start after any committee updates at noon.
Please bring a jar of peanut butter and join UAAD Community Outreach in their “Peanut Butter” drive for the Food Bank of Lincoln BackPack Program.
UNOPA’s fall workshop, “Building Resistance to Stress and Aging” will be presented by Dr. Richard Dienstbier, professor emeritus, department of psychology. This is free for UAAD members, though registration is required.
