It’s that time of year again, the season of giving. Annually, UAAD has participated in the Be a Santa to a Senior Program, organized through Home Instead Senior Care here in Lincoln, which has provided in-home senior care for nearly 20 years. The names have been organized by Home Instead, but many of them are not actually using the services of Home Instead. These elderly adults have been given to the organization through many community agencies to be assisted this holiday season. This year UAAD again will be sponsoring 30 individuals through their Santa to a Senior Program.
So, how can you get an ornament and participate?
Where:
At the November Large Group Meeting - Wednesday, Nov 18th or pick out online.
Once wrapped, return to Tony Lazarowicz (City Campus) 107 Oldfather Hall or Nicole Smith (East Campus) 103 Agriculture Hall, by December 11th.
When:
Gifts will be selected between Nov 12th-Nov 20th and must be returned wrapped by Dec 11th.
How Much:
Recommended value is $10-$15. You can pair up too if needed, as some of the requested items may be a little more costly.
Because some of you will be unable to make the large group meeting, we’ve also set up a way where you can select the gift you would like online.

Review the different items and then select the one you want.
Once you have selected the one you want, you must e-mail Tony Lazarowicz at Tlazarowicz2@unl.edu and provide your name, the person/item you selected, and your phone number.
You will see in the picture that the items on the top have not been selected (by the green arrow) while the items on the bottom (by the red arrow) had been selected.
