LinkedIn Deep Dive: Build up your Profile to Build up your Network - Register by Monday, November 5

It’s your last chance to work with LinkedIn specialist Diane Siefkes in the second of two information-packed workshops hosted by UAAD. Register now for the final session next Wednesday. Better still, bring a friend and plot your networking plans together.

“LinkedIn: Networking Deep Dive,” offers an exclusive in-depth session on November 7, 2018, 8:30-10:30. Siefkes will consult with a small group to help put their best self forward for networking on LinkedIn. Participants may bring a laptop or plan to use a computer on-site to create and/or strengthen their profile. Discussion will also include strategies and best practices for networking and connecting and will help attendees to jump-start their LinkedIn plan. Only 15 spaces available. Coffee and morning munchies will be provided. Location: 104 Hawks Hall, 730 N. 14th Street, Lincoln. Cost is $49 for both UAAD members and nonmembers. Register at go.unl.edu/3pgs. Invitation to UNOPA Self-Defense Workshop - Register by Thursday, November 8

Please mark your calendars for the next UNOPA workshop. On Thursday, November 15, Officer Price from the Lincoln Police Department will present a self-defense workshop. There will be hands-on training. The workshop will be held from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the Facilities Maintenance Auditorium (Room 102). Parking will be available in front of the Paul Research Center at Whittier School and on the paved area west of the Paul Research Center.
