I want to take a brief moment to congratulate our recent Donaldson (Rachel Lason) and Oldt (Donelle Mooremeier) award recipients as well as all of the nominees. It is important that we recognize the great work happening across our campus and our colleagues who are selfless in their service to our campus. Thank you also to Brooke Goedert who helped coordinate the event and the Jenny Schnase who coordinated the awards process. As we get set to enter April, we enter a time where we elect new officers. Please consider how you want to be involved in UAAD to make it one of the best organizations to be part of on campus. As we prepare to enter the final full month of the semester, I will encourage you to think about self care and taking time for yourself. I look forward to seeing you all at the upcoming joint UAAD/UNOPA meeting, and as always, let me know if there is anything UAAD can do to make your membership more meaningful.

Congrats to our Award Winners
UAAD celebrated Founders’ Day on March 20, 2019 – its 57th year at Nebraska. Diane Mendenhall, Associate to the Chancellor for External Engagement, provided a keynote presentation, noting “The Best Asset the State of Nebraska has is its People,” and assisted in presenting the annual Donaldson and Oldt Awards.
Rachel Larson was awarded the Carl A. Donaldson Award for Excellence in Management (Celeste Spier received the award on her behalf). Donelle Moormeier was awarded the Floyd S. Oldt Award for Exceptional Service and Dedication.
Congratulations to all those nominated, and thank you for all you do for the University!
Due to the winter weather in January, we rescheduled our joint meeting during UNOPAs regularly scheduled April meeting, which is Tuesday, April 9th, 11:45 - 1:00 at 138 Hawks Hall.
At the end of the meeting, we’ll participate in a joint outreach project. Encouragement cards for individuals at the People's City Mission (12:45-1:00pm)
