Message from the President - Lori Bennett Baumli
Hello UAAD members!
Our first general membership meeting will be September 18th, featuring Ben Lennander, Director of the Shared Service Center. Ben will be discussing the Service Delivery Initiative process improvement and this will be a great opportunity to hear more about the project, the goals, and timeline. Keep an eye out for the room assignment.
For our October 16th meeting, I plan to have a program about UNL’s Centennial College as this the 50th anniversary of the College. It was established as part of the university’s centennial as an experimental college in the residence halls. It resided in what is now Neihardt and became the forerunner to the Honors Program, but only lasted about a dozen years.
Lastly, we still are in need of a Program Chair and Founder’s Day Co-Chair; if you are wanting to get some university service time in or would like to have a more varied role in UAAD, I encourage you to reach out to me.
