Using Advising to Your Advantage: Tuesday, March 3, 3-4 p.m., Love Library South 221
This workshop is designed for Explore Center students. In this workshop, students will build an understanding of academic advising and how to use it to their advantage as they explore majors and careers. Learn how to set goals through required advising (your individualized COMPASS plan) and utilize your campus resources to move forward in choosing a major/career.

Start narrowing down your list of potential majors at this workshop. Learn about important details to consider when choosing a major and how to take advantage of available resources to explore your options.
Using Media and Tech in Major Exploration: Thursday, March 5, 3:30-4:30 p.m., Love Library South 221
Using the sites, apps, and streaming services you use every day, this interactive workshop will help you think of ways to use YouTube, Netflix, Instagram, podcasts, etc. to explore majors and careers. We will discuss techniques, pros/cons, and questions to think about while scrolling, searching, and browsing.
