Intro to Women Gender Studies is an online course that introduces students to basic concepts of the study of women and gender in the United States, and internationally. Students will explore the first, second, and third waves of feminism and beyond.
It is taught with an interdisciplinary focus and will explore intersectionality, media presentations of women, gender through dress, sexuality,
transnational feminism, and women's health.
This course fulfills ACE 9 requirements: Exhibit global awareness or
knowledge of human diversity through analysis of an issue.
