The Plant Metabolomics Obata lab conducts metabolomics analysis for various biological samples, mainly plants. We are looking for a few students who can help us with sample processing, including grinding, weighing, and metabolite extraction. No specific research and technical experience are required. Working time is flexible if you work more than three hours at least once a week.
Obata lab is also looking for students interested in developing a hands-on activity to teach molecular mechanisms of metabolic regulation to high school students. We will form an interdisciplinary undergraduate student team supervised by graduate students in the Obata lab to improve and conduct the hands-on activity.
