Clifton Builders learn how to build successful businesses, teams, and communities through various hands-on learning opportunities. In the program, Builders put their ideas into action right away, participating in events like the Builders Marketplace, where students develop and sell products in a competitive environment. Builders are also trained in management practices to lead high-performance teams. Local startups and non-profits rely on Builders to conduct Gallup’s Q12 workplace engagement survey, helping improve business outcomes and employee engagement.
As a cohort, students enroll in upper-level management courses that provide learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Each student is paired with a Gallup-certified strengths coach to develop and apply their strengths for success. With curriculum designed exclusively for Clifton Builders, students gain confidence, leadership development tools, and knowledge that will impact the growth and success of future organizations.
Applications are due by Friday, October 18th. The program is open to all first- and second-year students at the University. Students outside of the College of Business will complete a minor in Clifton Builders Management (12 credit hours). Questions can be directed to Kaitlin Ferris @ kferris15@unl.edu.
