Promote the Career Development Scholarship Challenge. This challenge was developed as a way for students to advance their career development while earning a chance to win monthly prizes and a $2,000 grand-prize scholarship! To be entered into the drawings, students choose from a variety of career development tasks to complete ranging from taking the Focus 2 career assessment to conducting an informational interview to attending the career fair and everything in between! For details, please visit: https://careers.unl.edu/career-development-scholarship-challenge.

Encourage your students to attend the Fall 2025 University Career + Internship Fair. Such a high-stakes event can be intimidating to students, so your encouragement may be what they need to get the confidence to attend! Encourage them to meet with their Career Coach for insights on how to prepare for the fair and get their resume polished. Also direct them to our series of career prep videos: https://careers.unl.edu/preparing-career-fairs/. For more information on the career fairs, including which career pathways are featured each day of the fair and which employers will be in attendance, please visit: https://unl.joinhandshake.com/stu/career_fairs/56956.

Volunteer to help with the career fairs. Consider volunteering to make a direct impact on not only your students’ career fair experience, but the experience for our employer partners. We still have openings for volunteers and as a thank you, we will offer you a complimentary lunch and official career fair t-shirt (while supplies last)!
