The Clifton Strengths Institute at the University of Nebraska Lincoln is now recruiting Student Strengths Coaches, an advanced leadership and coaching opportunity for undergraduate students passionate about helping others grow. Student Strengths Coaches develop professional coaching and facilitation skills while supporting first-year students through strengths-based conversations, classroom recitations, and intentional relationship-building. Coaches play a key role in helping new students build confidence, discover their CliftonStrengths®, and create meaningful connections during their time at UNL. This program is ideal for students who are curious, empathetic, reliable, and interested in leadership, coaching, education, human resources, or people-focused careers. Coaches receive training, mentorship, and hands-on experience applying strengths-based practices in real-world settings. Faculty and staff are encouraged to share this opportunity with students who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to personal development, and a desire to positively impact others.

Applications are currently open and open to all first- and second-year students.
