On Tuesday morning, January 31st, the UNL College of Law is hosting a session for advisors called “Law School Myth-Busters” from 8:30 to 9:30 in Colonial A of the Nebraska Union. Please join us for a true or false session that will address misconceptions about law school. Do students need to have a political science background for admission? Do all lawyers argue cases in courtrooms? Is a gap year between undergrad and law school expected? Do extra-curricular activities matter? Get these and other questions answered. In addition to addressing common law school myths, there will be time for you to present your own myths for busting or proving. Bring your coffee and your questions! Breakfast rolls will be provided. RSVP’s are appreciated but not required to Melissa McCoy at melissa.mccoy@unl.edu or 402-472-8394.
