Having spent weeks in class and facing registration for spring semester, students may start questioning their major and wondering about life after UNL. If a student you are advising seems uncertain about their direction, encourage them to meet with a Career Advisor in University Career Services (UCS). UCS serves all Nebraska students and will start the conversation wherever they are at along their career path, regardless of year in school, college, or major. Through self-assessment, career research, and decision making activities, UCS Advisors will help students explore the questions, Who am I?, Who do I want to be? and How do I get there?. With insight into each of these, students are better able to make academic decisions and prepare to reach their goals.
