The University Honors Program seeks your help in identifying and nominating students who are not already Honors Students, but who would benefit from joining the Honors community. In addition to students with strong academics, we are especially interested in nominations of students with great leadership skills, who bring unique or diverse perspectives to the Honors community, or who may have missed out on applying as a new student due to lack of awareness about the process, misconceptions about what Honors has to offer them, or choosing Nebraska after the Honors deadline. In short, if you know students who are curious, open-minded, hardworking, and proactive, nominate them for this opportunity. We will follow up and provide them with information about the application process. Applications are accepted every semester, December 1 and May 1 (for admission beginning the following semester).
