The Whole Advisor: Values-guided reflection for whole-hearted work and living (Rescheduled!)

AAA is offering a two-part professional development workshop series that will provide the time and tools for you to take inventory on your life as a whole and ponder how your work and personal life interact with your core values. Through guided reflection, idea-generating activities, and small group conversation, we want to leave with (1) a renewed understanding of our own personal values and (2) a vision for ways we can grow personally and professionally in alignment with those values. We hope that taking a meaningful look at our own lives will encourage deeper conversations with our colleagues and raise new questions to ask our students.
DATE/LOCATION CHANGE: Wednesday, April 24th | 3:30-5pm | 1107 Neihardt

Led by Jacob Schlange and Alexis Lehman
During Workshop 2 we will engage in brainstorming activities to help you identify your life goals (big and small!). We’ll discuss ways to infuse your goals into your work and play as you strive to grow and make decisions rooted in your core values. If you were at the first workshop in November, think back to your top 5 values – bring your list if it’s handy. If you were not at the workshop, you can be thinking about some of your core values or refer to exercise we sent to the AAA listserv.
Appetizers will be served. Please RSVP here: https://goo.gl/forms/dvH4zP69XJMR6Dnn1 if you would like to partake.
We hope to see you there!
