The AAA Executive Team is excited for another year of networking, professional development and learning from one another as an organization to best support our students for the 2019-2020 academic year. We are honored be serving as the Executive Team of AAA and look forward to seeing you at our general meetings, Wisdom Wednesdays and committee events. This year the Executive Team has a theme of Developing (Redeveloping) A Professional Identity with a focus on the relational component of our work.
While this is a time of exciting change on our campus, some things remain the same – why we do the work that we do and why we were drawn to work with students in the first place, which is at the heart of what we do on daily basis. Throughout the year we aim to connect with our faculty advisors, engage with our graduate students, and learn about specific advising populations.
We hope you join us throughout the year – below you can see a list of dates for our fall general meetings and our year-long Wisdom Wednesdays.
Fall 2019 General Meetings:
Tuesday, September 17th: 3:30-5:00, Regency B-C
Thursday, November 14th: 8:30-10:00, LOCATION TBD
2019-2020 Wisdom Wednesdays – join us for an informal lunch and conversation about a specific student population each month, based on feedback from last year’s membership survey.
Wisdom Wednesdays will take place from 11:30-1:00.
