"Bad Faith in High Places," new Work by Erik White, opens with a reception from 6-8:30 p.m. on Nov. 16th at The Outlook Projects Gallery in Turbine Flats.
Erik White is a 3rd year MFA student in painting. He attentively paints figures, symbols, objects, and scenes that were hastily made with never-dry, plasticine clay onto stretched canvases of various sizes. His studio practice is very playful, but the content of the paintings deal with serious contemporary issues and/or his ideas surrounding current American attitudes.
