• Dec. 2: Faculty Performance: Scott Anderson, trombone. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Free and open to the public.

• Dec. 2: Faculty Jazz Ensemble Performance. 7:30 p.m. Westbrook Recital Hall Rm. 119. Free and open to the public.

• Dec. 3: Undergraduate Jazz Combos Performance. 7:30 p.m. Westbrook Recital Hall Rm. 119. Free and open to the public.

• Dec. 4: Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Singers Performance. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets: $5 general and $3 students/seniors, available at the door.

• Dec. 5: Big Band and Grad Jazz Combo Performance. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets: $5 general and $3 students/seniors, available at the door.

• Dec. 6: We Are Nebraska Interns Performance. 5 and 7:30 p.m. Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts, 1300 Q St. Free and open to the public. Don't miss a revolutionary theatre experience. See the next generation of diverse and inclusive leaders tell their stories that must be told, along with music, dance and video expressions.

• Dec. 6-7: Student Dance Project. 7:30 p.m. each night. Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets: $5 general and $3 students/seniors, available at the door.

• Dec. 6-20: Graphic Design + Studio Art Capstone Exhibition. Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 12:30-4:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. First Friday opening reception is Dec. 6 from 5-7 p.m. A closing reception will also be held on Friday, Dec. 20 from 5-7 p.m. with awards presented at 6 p.m.

• Dec. 8: Welcome All Wonders. 3 and 7:30 p.m. Newman Center Church, 320 N 16th St. Free and open to the public.

• Dec. 9: Campus Orchestra Performance. 7:30 p.m. Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets: $5 general and $3 students/seniors, available at the door.

• Dec. 10: Symphonic Band Performance. Kimball Recital Hall. Tickets: $5 general and $3 students/seniors, available at the door.

• Dec. 12-21: Nebraska Repertory Theatre presents "The Holiday Cabaret." For showtimes and ticket information, visit http://www.nebraskarep.org. Don't miss the Rep's annual holiday celebration, "The Holiday Cabaret!" Enjoy holiday music performed by favorite Rep performers, emerging artists and surprise guests. Get into the holiday spirit and join us for this toe-tapping, uplifting night of song, good cheer and revelry. This year's event features vocalist Jackie Allen.

• Dec. 13-14: Winter Photo and Clay Club Sales and Raffles. Richards Hall Rm. 118. Hours are Dec. 13 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sales help raise money to support student attendance at national conferences and bring in visiting artists for lectures and demonstrations.

• Dec. 13: Musical Theatre Showcase. 7:30 p.m. Westbrook Recital Hall Rm. 119. Free and open to the public.

• Dec. 14: UNL Opera presents "Amahl and the Night Visitors." 1:30 and 3 p.m. Westbrook Music Building Rm. 130. Free and open to the public, but tickets are required. Three mysterious Kings arrive at the home of a poor mother and her son. This heartwarming story of kindness, generosity, and miracles will be the perfect start to the holiday season for the entire family.
