The Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts and its founding director Megan Elliott are featured in a new promotional video by HP.

The film shows how the University of Nebraska–Lincoln is building a world-class emerging media arts program with world-class technology from HP to push the boundaries for the next generation of storytelling.

"If you want blue-sky thinking, you need blue skies. And if you want to experiment, you need space, and we've got plenty of that," Elliott says in the two-minute video.

The Carson Center is a Hewlett Packard/Educause Campus of the Future. This partnership gives Nebraska access to the latest high-tech equipment, such as the HP Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition VR headset. The partnership puts Nebraska in the company of MIT, Harvard University's Graduate School of Education, Yale University and Dartmouth College in investigating ways augmented reality, virtual reality and 3D scanning and printing technologies can benefit teaching, learning and research.
