Have you been impacted by the arts? Do you have a story to share? Are you interested in learning how to become an advocate for the arts on a state and local level?
Join Nebraskans for the Arts and the Hixson-Lied College's Undergraduate Student Advisory Board for a rally for the arts on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln campus at the Sheldon Museum of Art on Tuesday, March 13 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Participants will be provided with "Arts Advocacy Toolkits" and encouraged to write letters to their representatives in support of the arts, which will then be delivered by Nebraskans for the Arts to the State Capitol.
Throughout the day, enjoy performances and presentations by UNL Dance, Flatwater Trio, Theatrix, Lazzi Improv, Chamber Singers, Bathtub Dogs and Cinema 16.
Participation in the event is free.
