Combined Spring PhD Program Recruiting Event

The PhD Program in Complex Biosystems will co-host a February event with six other programs to recruit PhD students to study UNL.

Participating programs include Engineering, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Molecular Mechanisms of Disease, Plant Sciences, and Agriculture Sciences and Natural Resources.

The event includes a group welcome and orientation by the Office of Graduate Studies, individual program overviews, tours of city and East campuses, the Greenhouse Innovation Complex, the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance facility, the Holland Computing Center and the Center for Biotechnology before ending with a catered dinner and poster session at the Champions Club.

This is the third year of the event that invites local, national and international students to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Phd programs.

The PhD Program in Complex Biosystems is designed to prepare students for both academic and industrial careers. It is directed toward students interested in applying quantitative statistical and computational approaches to data acquisition and analysis in multiple life sciences fields including human health and medical biochemistry, plant phenomics, and host-microbial metagenomics.
