Forrest Kievit was featured in Nebraska Today's Pocket Science for his project that aims for better delivery of traumatic brain injury treatments. Kievit and colleagues calibrated a nanoparticle whose composition allows it to be clearly visualized by both fluorescence and MRI technologies. Learn more about the project here. Angela Pannier with graduate students, Andrew Hamann and Tyler Kozisek and undergraduate student, Kelly Broad were cited for their work that showed transgene expression enhancement was mediated by transcriptional activation of endogenous human MSC genes by the cytosolic glucocorticoid receptor.
