Graduate students, Andrew Hamann and Tyler Kozisek and undergraduate student, Kelly Broad along with Dr. Angela Pannier were cited for their work that showed transgene expression enhancement was mediated by transcriptional activation of endogenous human MSC genes by the cytosolic glucocorticoid receptor. Dannielle Schutz an incoming freshman in Fall 2020 received the Anne Lowe Scholarship. She plans to pursue a career as a medical scientist, with the goal of conducting research on genetic mutations and induced pluripotent stem cell applications to assist in the restoration of affected health.
