The Executive Vice Chancellor’s Office announced its third cohort of Faculty Fellows for Student Success. Santosh Pitla was among the twelve faculty chosen for the 2020-21 academic year. IANR recently interviewed Santosh Pitla for his work developing an autonomous tractor using ground robotics. "Pitla and his team are currently working on one of the only autonomous tractors of its kind in the country." Read the full IANR interview.

Lance Todd was mentioned by Nebraska Today in the story on how architecture students are helping the tractor museum explore expansion options. Suat Irmak, Harold W. Eberhard Distinguished Professor, was recently inducted as a Fellow of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE). Mike Kocher earned the PEI Professional Engineer of the Year Award from ASABE. The PEI Professional Engineer of the Year Award honors an ASABE licensed engineer who has made outstanding contributions to the engineering profession, the public welfare, and/or humankind.
