Rick is part of a $291,000 grant from USDA-NIFA for Enhancement of Agricultural Literacy through Inquiry-Based Professional Development. Joe and Christopher are part of a $890,835 grant from the University of Maryland for Improving Agricultural Water Use and Nutrient Management to Sustain Food and Energy Crops Production in the Corn Belt.

Yufeng Ge was mentioned in Nebraska in the national news: March 2021. He appeared on a March 2 segment on RFD-TV. He discussed his research looking to better understand how a plant’s genetic makeup, or genome, affects its physical traits, or phenome.

Tami Brown-Brandl was mentioned in Nebraska in the national news: March 2021. She is part of a team of international researchers led by Michigan State University that received a five-year, $1 million grant from the USDA’s Data Science for Food and Agricultural Systems program to build a precision livestock farming network, Nebraska Farmer, National Hog Farmer and Western Livestock Journal reported.
