Another new faculty member was added to the Department of Biological Systems Engineering.
Emily Case joins us as a departmental Communications Specialist. Her position is in partnership with ARD to support BSE and the Nebraska Plant Phenomics Consortium (PPC).
Emily will have responsibility for developing and delivering a communication plan for the department. Emily has a varied communications background that encompasses newspapers, marketing and most recently public information at the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy. She has a bachelor's in English from Hastings College and a master’s in professional journalism from the UNL College of Journalism in 2018. In her free time she likes bouldering, exploring local trails with her boyfriend Jared, cooking and watching TV with her cat Zora.
