Nebraska Today's Year in Review featured BSE students' capstone project on learning the art of prosthetic building by working with a three-legged cat and tools at Nebraska Innovation Studio. Abby Smith, Harrison Grasso, Jaden Schovanec, Rachael Stanek and Alexandra Jensen were part of the team along with their instructor, Deepak Keshwani. BSE students were featured in Nebraska Today's article on Biological Systems Engineering’s Eday event. For the competition, students were challenged to create an autonomous vehicle that could respond to light and stop before hitting a barrier. They used coding, electrical and design skills to build the vehicles. View more about the event and the winning cars and student designers here.
