Ly Tran will be joining the Filley Chase Hall Business Center on Monday, May 1st as a Financial Specialist. She joins us from the Nebraska DHHS and has extensive grant and financial management experience. She will be located in 205C Filley Hall. Ly will be handling the pre-award (grant proposal) duties for ALEC, Ag Econ, and MEP. Faculty/staff from those departments should contact Ly when they begin thinking about submitting a proposal so that she can add it to her list and assist you with planning. Ly will also be assisting Tina with the pre-award responsibilities for BSE. Faculty/staff from BSE should reach out to Tina regarding their upcoming proposals, and Tina and Ly will work together to determine who is best positioned to assist you. Ly will also have financial management responsibilities for some faculty/accounts, however we haven’t yet determined how those will be distributed. For the time being, continue working with the same individual in the business center until you are hear differently.
FCH - Back in Filley Hall
On Monday, May 1st, we will be moving back into our Filley Hall offices. The renovation is near completion – with furniture being installed today. During our move, some of us will not have access to computers/phones. If you need to reach one of us, please contact Juliet Okuom (472-0891), and she will get ahold of us. The plan is to have all of our computers and phones reconnected by the end of the day on Monday, so by Tuesday, we should be “back to normal.” We sincerely appreciate your patience while we are transitioning and while we were located in our temporary home. We are excited to get back into our refreshed offices, and we invite you to come check out the new space.
