BSE staff member and Extension Research Engineer Paul Jasa was a recent highlighted guest of the 23rd annual No Till on the Plains Winter Conference, held in Wichita, Kansas on January 29 and 30. The conference welcomed over 600 attendees to over forty-five sessions on topics surrounding soil health.

KTIC Radio interviewed Paul regarding the conference for their recap article discussing major conference events and themes.

Paul also was highlighted during KTIC's video recap. Paul discusses how the conference has grown to include a systems approach to farming beyond crops to include livestock and other topics. The conference also emphasized soil health and what it means to human health and the parallels between the two.

Paul serves on the Board of Directors for No-Till on the Plains and was a speaker at this year’s pre-conference workshop for beginning no-tillers.
