Five Biological Systems Engineering faculty/staff received Parents' Recognition Awards from the UNL Parents Association on Friday, March 1 at the association's annual banquet.

The Parents' Recognition Award annually recognizes faculty and staff who have made a significant difference in students' lives. The Parents Association solicits nominations through an annual mailing, asking parents to nominate a faculty or staff member. The awards provide positive feedback to campus faculty and staff about the work they do with students and encourages a positive relationship between students and faculty.

Faculty and staff presented with certificates of recognition this year were: Deepak Keshwani, Santosh Pitla, Roger Hoy, Tiffany Messer, and Mark Wilkins.
