What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend (or during this Quarantine)?

You would most likely find me running errands, running kids to all their activities/friends or just staying home. Our schedule varies from week to week. This, of course, is not during a time of quarantine, but during times of normalcy. I would also be gearing up to head to the pool for the summer. I am hoping that we are still able to do this?!?!?
During the quarantine, you would find me staying at home and watching a lot of tv, occasionally hanging outside with the kids or finding some chore that needs done. Pretty boring these days, but from the long days during the week with working, homeschooling and parenting…I need the downtime. -Shelly Egge
I usually clean the house, do my laundry and run errands on Saturdays, leaving Sundays for my Fundays! Sometimes Fundays are spent doing fun things like going to a movie, taking a drive, getting out for a nice walk somewhere…but sometimes Fundays are spent doing yardwork/gardening or home improvement projects. I’m not a very exciting person. I’ve been teaching myself how to sew with a sewing machine! That doesn’t sound very exciting either – but it’s been on my list of things to learn for two decades or so.

On the weekends and evenings, I most enjoy working outside (when the weather is nice) doing spring clean-up in my flower gardens and courtyard, prepping them for the summer growing season. This includes pruning grapevines, raspberry bushes, apple trees, plum trees, and wood vines on the pergola and on what we call our “Mountain Fountain” (which is a 4 pond river fountain in our courtyard), as well as cleaning out the flower beds, pruning rose bushes and prepping the vegetable garden. It’s a lot of work, but I absolutely love doing it – and everyone enjoys the end product during the summer!
