Katherine Hazen is being honored for her work as a Research Mentor. Her areas of focus are Social Psychology and Law and Psychology. Her research examines how social identity and perspective influences evaluations of decision making processes. She says, “My favorite thing about the UNL Psychology Department is the many intelligent and excited undergraduate students interested in learning about research.”
