CCFL's Community Services Project has partnered with the City of Lincoln and the Lincoln Community Foundation to provide funds through The Lincoln Prevention Assistance Common Fund (LPAC) for financial assistance in the form of mortgage, rent, and utility assistance. Since mid-July, they have provided support to more than 360 households.
Here are some estimates for you to consider:
--$40 provides 1 week of utility assistance for a family of four.
--$20 provides 1 day of rent assistance for a family
--$5 provides 1 day of utility assistance for a family
If you'd like to contribute to the fund, you can give online at https://my.lcf.org/donate?pid=1044 and in the Designation drop-down choose “Other” and then type LPAC.
