The Spring 2017 Teaching & Learning Symposium: Motivation, Engagement, Innovation, and Evidence will be held on this Friday, March 3, 2017 from 1:00-4:10pm at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center. Check-in begins at 12:30pm.
"Teaching for Brain-Based Learning: Evidence-Based Strategies to Motivate and Engage Students" will be the keynote presentation by Dr. Todd Zakrajsek. Three breakout sessions, each addressing a specific teaching challenge deemed of critical interest by past participants, will follow the keynote presentation. The workshop-style format allows for time for active participation and interaction and a deeper dive into key concepts highlighted in the keynote.
