Through the Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experience (UCARE) program, Nebraska undergraduates are guided by research mentors on year-long projects and receive a $2400 stipend.

Undergraduate research projects allow students to work hands-on with a faculty advisor to gain important experience and skills that can enhance a student's application to graduate school or prepare a student for a career. Students from all majors and disciplines are encouraged to apply for UCARE. No prior experience is necessary! See our eligibility requirements and application deadlines.

Faculty or project directors who would like to post research opportunities should go here:

UCARE will begin accepting applications for Summer 2018 on December 4 and for Academic Year 18-19 on February 5.
