UNL-CCFL Community Services was awarded nearly $480,000 in annual funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for its direct work on multiple grants. The UNL-CCFL HUD Continuum of Care grants form a part of the federal, state, city, and foundation funding to provide the Homeless Management Information System services; develop and implement Homeless Coordinated Entry; and provide program development, planning, and data analysis and reporting on homeless, near homeless, and those in need of basic services in our state. UNL-CCFL Community Services (in addition to our direct awards) serves as the Nebraska Balance of State Continuum of Care Collaborative Applicant and as the Lincoln Continuum of Care Homeless Planning and Data Lead. This played a key role in shepherding a total of $4.4 million of FY2018 U.S. HUD annual funding into Nebraska for homeless assistance and services for the Balance of State and Lincoln.

These results are due to the outstanding efforts, products, and dedication of the team here at CCFL (JEFF, Tamara, Angel, Mary, Denise, Abby, Alex, Jared, Chris, and all support staff) and support from UNL proper (Suzan Lund, Sara Mattson, and Suzanne Reinke).

Congratulations on a job well done!
