The Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families, and Schools invites you to mark your calendar for Wednesday, April 11, for the inaugural presentation of the CYFS Signature Event series. It will take place from 11:30am-1:00pm in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, Unity Room (212).

Michael Pluess, Associate Professor of Developmental Psychology at Queen Mary University of London, will give a presentation titled: Individual Differences in Environmental Sensitivity. This presentation will examine why some people are more affected than others by the same experiences-specifically, why some are more vulnerable to adverse experiences in their lives as a function of inherent risk characteristics, such as personality or genes.

The presentation is free and open to the public. It will be followed by an informal reception with light refreshments.
