Did you grow up in the CITY or in the COUNTRY?

I’m definitely a city girl! I was born and raised here in Lincoln and am very attached to the conveniences of being in town. My husband eventually wants to buy an acreage, but it’s hard for me to imagine not having close neighbors (we love our neighbors!) or lots of food and activity choices within a couple minutes’ drive. So we’ll see how that one works out. –Maggie Thompson

I am a city girl for sure! I grew up in the heart of St Paul, MN in the same house my mother was raised in. We played in the yards, streets and alleys until the street lights came on. There were so many kids in the neighborhood, we could always find someone to play with by just walking out the door. We learned to get around by bike and bus if we wanted to get anywhere. I love getting out of the city and into the country as often as I can, but the city is home for me. –Mary Bothwell

I grew up in Lincoln…not a big city, but I’m pretty sure it counts. –Kate Stephenson

Well...both. I was born in Denver, Colorado but grew up in Jerseyville, Illinois (the county seat for Jersey County), population about 8,000, corn country, driving up and down Main Street on Friday and Saturday nights, Dairy Queen, A&W Root Beer stand, and the county fair. –Jan Walters
