State of the University Address

As we welcome the 2019 calendar year, the University of Nebraska—Lincoln kicks off a celebration of its 150th anniversary. Please join us as Chancellor Ronnie Green presents the State of the University address. The address examines the history of the university, outlines priorities for the coming year, and reviews the N150 commission report, revealing a vision for the next 25 years.

The speech, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. at the Lied Center for Performing Arts, 301 N. 12th St, and will also be streaming online at unl.edu.

Lobby doors open at 2:30 p.m, and the auditorium opens at 3:00 p.m. Please note that security screening will occur at the entrance of the Lied Center.

A reception featuring UNL Dairy Store ice cream, sponsored by TIAA, will take place in the lobby immediately following Chancellor Green’s remarks.
