Congratulations to William England, doctoral students in TLTE, and his advisor, Ted Hamann, who are the winners of the Leslie Hewes Award for the best social sciences article (Segregation, Inequality, Demographic Change, and School Consolidation: A Micropolitan Case) published in Volume 23 of Great Plains Research. This award includes a cash prize of $250 per paper. They will accept their prize at the annual Fellows Luncheon hosted by the Center for Great Plains Studies on 7 May at the East Campus Union.
