One of the values CEHS espouses is dedication to excellence. Another is valuing community. With those values in mind, I am asking you to join me on Friday, April 22 at 10 a.m. at the Sheldon Art Museum to salute this year's faculty, staff and student award recipients in CEHS. Each one is an example of excellence in teaching, research, creative work, engagement, mentoring as well as dedication to supporting the CEHS mission.
I am asking that we CLOSE our offices, LEAVE our desks and ALL HEAD OVER to the Sheldon for two hours to recognize our own. Just like the CEHS breakfast in the fall, this is a time to come together for a short while, put our work aside, and "feed" our sense of mutual respect and camaraderie--all things that make CEHS special.
We will have great music, an inspiring program, and a delicious buffet afterwards. Please join me in congratulating our 2016 recipients. You can RSVP from the invitation email sent on April 6, or another reminder will be sent to your inbox soon. I look forward to seeing you there.
