Congratulations to Jennybeth Jorgensen, assistant professor of Textiles, Merchandising & Fashion Design, for receiving the Merchandising Instructional Enhancement Initiative mini grant sponsored by Great Plains IDEA. TMFD has a Master's degree program in Merchandising with the online degree provider. The grant amount is nearly $5,000. It focuses on international retail expansion and will help the program grow its global scope. Jorgensen will be developing new video material for the course to ramp up the professionalism of the videography. She'll also be exploring product lifecycle management systems to better help students understand them and how they can be used in merchandising and retailing.
