The Lied Center for Performing Arts and ICMEE collaboration

The Lied Center mission is to give opportunity to everyone in the state to have access to Arts. It offers a variety of programs for K-12 students & teachers, college students, and community members of all ages in towns across the state. Their aim is to increase access to quality arts productions and learning experiences throughout Nebraska. Art Across Nebraska is the program led by Erin Poor, the Director of Education and Community Engagement, and it connects Lied artists to Nebraska communities throughout the state.
Erin Poor and ICMEE are collaborating on the creation of a new eWorkshop that gives access to any instructor or educator to learn more about teaching emergent bilinguals through the performing arts. Next month, we will release a podcast interview where Erin will talk more about this design, her background and her interest in providing great educational opportunities to everybody.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Arts Across Nebraska tours and program, you can contact Erin Poor by email, erin.poor@unl.edu.
