Connecting Hands in a Circle

The Department of Educational Administration is coordinating their annual Critical Issues Forum to be held Monday, February 25th at Southeast Community College from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. The topic this year will be on mental health and education and how stress, anxiety, depression, and suicide are affecting students in our educational systems. Researchers, school leaders, and community service agencies will provide presentations and resources related to mental health and its impact on students and schools. The audience includes K-12 school teachers and administrators as well as higher education faculty, graduate students, and administrators and human service agencies related to mental health and education. The event is free and open to the public although registration is expected.
