Braden Foreman has accepted the position of coordinator for the Teacher’s Scholars Academy.

Braden Foreman has accepted the position of coordinator for the Teachers Scholars Academy. He will be joining us at UNL the first week in March. Foreman will be coming from the University of Kansas, where he was the Complex Director for Student Housing.

As the UNL Teachers Scholars Academy Coordinator, Foreman will coordinate the academy scholars’ meaningful experiences in Nebraska schools and communities; and will direct their research, service, and internship experiences with faculty from across
CEHS. He will also lead the learning community that will include representatives from Nebraska education (e.g., exemplary teachers, Nebraska Teachers of the Year, CEHS faculty and all scholars in the Teachers Scholars Academy).

Directing recruitment efforts to the Academy each year will be an important responsibility for the coordinator in partnership with CEHS recruiting, UNL resources, Nebraska education organizations and Nebraska school districts. We look forward to having Braden join our team!
